This building was built during the city’s booming period for elite tourism. It was therefore at the beginning of the 20th century that this building was erected. Occupied at the time by the European aristocracy, it has stood the test of time. It is a question here of rethinking the spaces of the 3rd floor and therefore of recontextualizing it around its time. Our intention is to recontextualize this apartment to its environment and its time while keeping in mind the notion of tradition. The building has a fairly classic vocabulary on the facade even though its construction took place in the first part of the 20th century. Our proposal therefore consists in reusing the ancient vocabulary and reinterpreting it in a contemporary way.
