The "GUN BAE" bar is located in a very dynamic street in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It is a unique space with a strong identity where the Korean taste is reinvented by the association of "tapas" and the local favorite drink "SOJU" which is displayed like an elixir.
The "GUN BAE" bar is a new Parisian space where you have to be, centered around Korea and tasting local products.
We wanted to make this address a real signal from the outside about Korean culture. The inscription in space was complex, the place being very narrow, we thought about an architectural vocabulary to be used in this microarchitecture. We have created an open and dynamic arrangement whose materials resonate and dialogue harmoniously with the existing. Our concept highlights "the art of Korean play", our spaces are designed in a very graphic way to highlight volumes and materials, while bringing movement and dynamism to develop a real identity.
